      Hi CourageMum,

thanks for the info but i’m afraid Pat Schoolhouse is above our affordability. We stay in the west side of Singapore. Any other recommendation for other CC?

Any recommendation for good OT therapist? All help is appreciated!

      Hi All mummies,

my son who is 5 years old CC has feedback that he has some emotions regulations problem as in he is very touchy to comments, get upset easily, cry easily and not able to perform in big class setting (his class has 25 students). Teacher need to talk to him on 1-to-1 basis or smaller group then he’s able to do it.
He actually has been receiving intervention at intervention centre for past 1 year and during that 1 year feedback is that he doesn’t have any issue of tantrum or emotions at all cos during that one year there’s never once he throw a tantrum.
Personally i don’t blame the CC for trying to push him away from their school but i’m at a loss now. i wonder is there any recommendation for a good CC where the teachers are more patient . We couldn’t send him to kindergarten cos both of us are working and there’s no one to take care of him in the daytime.
And any ideas what kind of therapy does my son needs? and any recommendation and what are the charges like?
Appreciate all your feedback and help

    • RE: Any childcare recommended for ADHD child?

      Hi

i have a 3 years old son whos being diagnosed with autistic because of his tantrum. He has improved greatly but however once in a while he tend to have a tantrum in his current childcare whenever he dun get his way. but it only last between 1 to 5min and it’s just simple loud crying / running to one corner away from his classmates. His current childcare principle is not accomodative and keep hinting that maybe i should withdraw him. I’m pretty upset over this as i thought a childcare principal should be more caring and not only wanting to keep those easy kids to earn easy money. Hence i have decided to look for a new childcare for him. Any suggestions? we’re staying in the west.
      Any comments is greatly appreciated.

      Hi

i’m new here. i have a son 3.5 years old being diagnosed mild autistic. to me he doesn’t have any issue other than behavioural issues. Have been sending him to rainbow centre for 2 hours lessons 3 times a week.
Can i know what’s the ABA therapy that i have been reading in this forum? is it good for behavioural issues kids? roughly hw much will it cost and which provider is good?
Sigh his mainstream CC has been feedback he’s quite disruptive in class really worried they’ll kick him out, he love the CC and the teacher and friends there. Any advice?
