I do understand that in June, even though it's the holidays, we have to pay for the full month. But what I don't understand is, why do I have to back-pay December when I just started in January?

      Is this a norm?

It is for Dec 2014 and not Dec 2013. You are not back paying. Instead, the bus operator is collecting the payment in advance, which is a norm. Hope this helps.

Yea...you're right. Thanks. It was for Dec 2014 and not Dec 2013.

Hi, I’ve just started school bus arrangement on the 3rd day of school. The bus driver just informed me that I’ve to pay for Dec month as well. I’m wondering if this is a standard arrangement?

159 appliants for a 84 seats in Rivervale Pri. I wonder if they are all less than 1km? If not, shouldn’t the school called up those 1-2km and tell them to register somewhere else? Then again - if it’s really 159 that are all less than 1km…wow…i just suddenly thought, within that range, there are actually so many kids of the same age.

Anyone has updates on Rivervale Pri? I’ve tried calling the school but it’s been engaged since morning.

I’m thinking of enrolling my boy next year. Would you know if they offer golfing as CCA?

      My girl’s 1st day of school :-

My girl bought a plate of noodle @ 50 cents and apple juice @ $1. I kept asking her how does the packet/bottle of apple juice looks like (cause in my heart, I keep thinking how come the drink is more expensive than the food…just puzzle me). And guess what, she ate only a little noodle and threw most of it… cause they have vegetables inside and a lot of green green stuff. Picky eater, what to do… …

When I pick her from school…she tells me she needs to go toilet urgently (she’s too afraid to ask - may I go to the toilet please… …). As it is, her water bottle is still full. I suppose she only had apple juice the entire day.

Hope today will be a better day.
