The system will first look at First choice list, allocate seats to those meet the cutoff , any remaining seats it goes to second row , and so forth. Once the seats are full in eg those who put at first choice , the system will stop looking further.
If many AL9 scorers put ACSI as First choice and have taken all the seats then there won’t be seats left for those who put ACSI as 2nd or 3rd choice , even though they have lower scorer egAL6.
If RI is your kid dream school just go for it!
And congrats to your kid having an amazing result.

correct me if I am mistaken.

You compete at the score level first, then Citizenship, then choice, then random balloting

AL 6 will gets ACSI (doesn't matter if its 2nd choice or 3rd choice)
AL 9 will NOT get ACSI earlier than the above, (even if its the 1st choice)

      Is that correct?

Choice order is used ONLY to tie-break
When two SG kids with AL9P selects ACSI, then 1st choice gets the slot over the 2nd choice.
      (assuming 1 vacancy left)

Thanks for clarification. Sorry to interpret wrongly earlier 😊

my boy got 6M, if we put
      1st RI,
      2nd HCL,
      3rd ACS,
      4th RV
Is it too risk to lost 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, if this year there are a lots 4 and 5, then cop for RI, HCL and ACS to 6 or below?

      or we put
      1st HCL
      2nd ACS
      3rd RV.
if sequence of choice matters, then maybe go HCL if this year there are a lots 4 and 5, then cop for RI, HCL and ACS to 6 or below?

      Please advice.

I think ACS(I) will be a \"safety net\" choice for you because it is very unlikely that AL9 (indicative by MOE) will leap to AL6. So you can afford to put RI and HCI in whichever order (1st / 2nd) you want and give it a shot. If it doesn't work out, you will get your 3rd choice of ACS(I).

The system will first look at First choice list, allocate seats to those meet the cutoff , any remaining seats it goes to second row , and so forth. Once the seats are full in eg those who put at first choice , the system will stop looking further.

Move on and stop looking back . Carry on the discussions will only make the kids feel bad and affect them mentally . They can google and read what you all were discussing.

There are 2 more papers to go .

Hi! Received email from SNGS asking for footages of DD in action to support her application under the sports domain. Anyone received it too? I could only retrieve a few pics, no videos at all from the CCA teachers postings on Class Dojo. Am wondering how…

Yes, we received email from SNGS too! Asking for samples to support ability in Mathematics.

Stuck on what samples as they indicated that samples cannot be Math worksheets and must be individual work and different from what’s submitted during DSA application.
      Can anyone advise? Thank you

For maths domain , I thought external competitions awards eg maths Olympics, and sch results are the main proof of abilities . Did you find out what Maths samples the school want? I’m curious .
