I also agree for dsa academic the selection criteria is not very transparent. My gals who don’t hv a single MO medal above bronze but was shortlisted by a top school... I dunno why too maybe all rounder that has nothing to do with the dsa domain?

For those who went for STEAM selection test at NJC, do u think it is just a show? I went to ask some experienced parents and they also find it unbelievable for NJC to conduct such test with open ended questions for Hundreds of students and able to screen all to shortlist within a week.. we somewhat concluded that maybe there was already a preselection made before hand and this is just an exercise to validate their assessment.. sounds so disappointing

My Son said he saw many put down pens after just 15mins. So likely those answers too short would be out. It’s a general street smart test

Is it Steam domain? The selection trials are not over yet fyi. There is another session next week according to the schedule on its website.
