any mainstreamers received reply from rgs???

...dd's tuition mate from CHIJ katong went for the interview the previous saturday...so dd says that she got no more hope....quite demoralising for her...surprisingly she has won many awards for english...including 2nd Prize winner for Commonwealth essay....and she lost this.....may its just DSA (Different Standards Apply).....but congrats to all those who crossed the bar!

I called RGS today to ask. They say, whether got or no interview, they will still email us to let us know. Will not keep us in the dark :nosebleed:
...thanks....all the best to yr dd..!!

OMG!! really your DD fren received email!!!I am equally worried
…dd did some checking…those girls that received emails were from "other batch"…seems like there were two groups…36 each…while one went for the oral tests…the other batch was taking written…the successful ones had taken oral first…and all seemed to be from same school…she also told me that the maths domain girls have not got replies yet…which domain was your dd?

      Hi all,

Has any mainstreamers received invitation to interviews after the selection test at RGS?

      I am also waiting excitedly

..dd is really freaking out...seems like her tuition mates have received the email for interview (rgs - english) last friday...poor girl, was full of confidence after the selection test...called up rgs yesterday...they say that they will send out emails later this week....sounded like the rejection emails....hope someone out there can contradict me.

Hi mummies, how did your DD feel about RGS selection test today?

...dd took english...got groups of 12...and 6 groups in total...that means for dsa english itself there were 72 kids....chances are 1 in 3...maybe?

My girl got the email last friday for RGS (English) selection. I have told her to be normal. Listen more and talk sensibly. If you are selected, you are lucky. If not selected, you are luckier as you are destined for something better. RGS is not the end of the world.

By the way, why are you using DS, DD etc…I am cracking my head to know the abbreviations.
