I have 2 kids currently in BMCK. I have positive experiences so far and it is a school that is within my expectations. A lot if parent involvements, which was what i was looking for. Expect youself to be busy with show & tell crafts made together with you and your kids. Join cooking classes. Volunteer on games day. Etc. Academic wise, i would say they are quite on the ball, their ultimate goal is preparing kids for p1. Teachers that i’ve encountered for 2 kids are caring, strict and very experienced. I do not agree that they have high turn over. Previous heads left after 8 years!! The current pool of teachers, majority are in the school for at least 4-5 years. Teachers are minimum diploma certified and they are Christians as they have to conduct praise and worship too. They daily praise and worship sessions are great! Lively singings and story telling. Weekly email updates on what they teach in class. Nice learning environment. Teachers speak PROPER English and Mandarin, clearly educated and experienced. Do not be offended when they have negative feedbacks on your kid, only then they will tell you stuff without fearing that you do not have an open mind. The team works closely with parents on kids behavior n character n acedamic. School fees pretty reasonable based on experienced teachers n environment and stationery used to do their crafts n writings n toys etc. Food every week same but children love it even though its been 2 years. They can remember what day serves what dish. All Kids have to bring a fruit every monday to share with class for entire week. Termly Cooking class gives kids opportunity to love n explore new food n most importantly love veggies!!! The team at BMCK are humble and loving people! I have a 3rd one and i will also be sending my 3rd into bmck!
