RE: EESIS
nicnac:
Hi, just to let you know that my child has EESIS and is also under MOE-IB. So as long as your income meet to what is stated for MOE-IB, you will be qualify. after deduction of the $200 per mth from the school fees, the balance will be base on the MOE-IB income tier %. Hope it helps.Thank you, cchew!
I read the same but previously, I alsogoogled and read on one a particular IS school website that MOE-IB, must be without any scholarship awards...which I assume includes the EESIS. -

for EESIS, as long as you stays in the track, it is auto.
for MOE-IB, every year you have to submit the application to the school and they will arrange with MOE for that.
Hope the above information helps. -

RE: Recommendation for Driving School
jetsetter:
Why can't your spouse give you refresher courses instead on weekends in those less crowded open-air carparks of public parks or industrial districts? When you're more confident, you can proceed to the multi-storey carparks, main roads, followed by expressways. then do a few night runs with your spouse beside you.
I think i forgot all the driving tactics, esp the parking skills. Going straight no issue. hahhaa...
I almost decided to look at SSDC Woodlands for my refreshment course till I saw your message. Looking for one to refresh my driving. Had my license coming to almost 20 decades but till now have not dared to drive. :nailbite:ellehcim:
I cannot comment other driving centres but I must say that I regret taking up my refresher course at SSDC. Their instructors are mostly below market standard, they even uses trainees practical session to suggest washing the car. Furthermore, their customer service is really bad and their management has rigid regulations which are of disadvantage to trainees. Their regulations only benefit their company's shares example no replacement of practical sessions for absence due to critical medical conditions. They will just take your money and shut the door. Please be wary.
I support going for private instructor and will definitely do in future if the need arise. :stompfeet:
Anyone has any good private instructor to recommend for North area?
with him beside me, more kan cheong than me makes the whole learning process worse. He worry i bang his quite new car. Plus I learned manual last time, need familiarize auto cars. Once ever stepped onto accelerator instead of brake and the car dash forward... from then onward dare not touch anymore till now lo. -

yes is around that timing, can't recall exactly what time, except Friday at 8am. I stayed very far too, thus ds will have to catch the around 6am train to school.Hi,
Hijacking this thread for a separate question. Do you know what the school hours are for HCI? Is it 720-730am like the primary schools? The reason I am asking is that we live quite far from HCI.
Thanks.
