But I saw in the e-open house from their youtube video saying they can accept students with PSLE result between AL4 to AL20.
Even for the students not taking part in the DSA trial? I thought they only accept students via DSA trial.

Hi, based on the DSA CO received from SST, it was stated that "With this Confirmed Offer, a place has been reserved for your child in the school. However, your child must still be eligible to attend a Posting Group 3 offered in our school based on their PSLE score.".

Am I right that the PSLE score for Posting Group 3 is AL4 - 20?

Does anyone know what is SST DSA acceptance rate?

According to the SST website : \"SST Phase 1 Written Test for ALL candidates (To be conducted face-to-face in SST)\" and \"SST Phase 2 STEAM Challenge for SHORTLISTED candidates (To be conducted face-to-face in SST)\"

So everyone gets to sit for the written test in Phase 1 and only after that will students be shortlisted for Phase 2.

Yup, in the previous year they had the test in Phase 1 also.

For Phase 2 the students were grouped into teams of 4-5 kids and they were given a real-world problem and together they had to brainstorm some suggestions as to how they can tackle the problem. My kid's group was given the problem of wet toilet floors and how to mitigate that. They had to list their solutions down and present it.
After that they had an individual interview where the student had to present (in front of 3 teachers) a 1 min talk about their interest in a STEM topic.

Not sure how it's gonna go for this year, but that was what they went through for last year. šŸ™‚
Hi, any idea when will be the Phase 2 if get shortlisted?

      Thanks.

Hi Parents, would like to find out if anyone's kid got in thru DSA (Basketball)? Does the kid have to meet those criteria stated in their DSA admission page? Does all the applicants get a chance for the trial or only selected ones (those meeting the criteria) would get shortlisted for the trial? Thanks in advance.

I am still exploring between QtPS and New Town Primary school for my kid who will be registering for 2017 intake soon. Appreciate if anyone can share more information about these 2 Primary schools for reference.

      With thanks,
