Temasek, like many others, have temporarily stopped the PV scheme due to Covid, without an indication when it will be reintroduced. Apart from the uncertainty of not knowing whether you will be selected, there’s an issue of whether you will be able to clock the necessary hours.EShannie\" post_id=\"2010839\" time=\"1609812384\" user_id=\"179540:Hi Parents, hope everyone had an enjoyable festive Dec period. Was hoping to get some tips and advice on P1 registration for my monkey child.
We are SC residing within 2km of Temasek Primary, when we moved in here. It wasn’t a popular school, and judging from recently popularity it seems harder to get in now. The location of the school is perfect for my commute to work without heavy traffic.
Red Swastika, St Stephen’s, Opera Estate , fengshan are all within 2km of my place.
My alumni primary school is Yu Neng also in Bedok but a bit out of the way in terms of traffic and commute to work.
We are thinking of applying for PV in Temasek Primary. I have already registered as alumni for Yu Neng.
If phase 2b goes to a ballot then we don’t get in, we would be phase 2c in Yu Neng right? Seems like a risky move as 2c is balloting at Yu Neng.
Other than Yu Neng (sure in at phase 2A1), look for schools within 1km which will give you better odds at Phase 2C.
Thank you Floppy for the insights. The only school within 1km is Bedok Green Primary which I haven’t heard much about. Even Yu Neng has very limited reviews or parents posting on the sch environment etc. This is so stressful
