mrswongtution, i should ask my p2 daughter to check the last digit right?

when there is 0, 2,4, 6,8 at the end of the three digit no-then its an even no.and 1,3, 5,7,9 at the end of the three digit no then its an odd no,is this explanation correct

9, 1, 6


Use the digits above to form: (use each digit ONCE only)

a) the greatest 3-digit odd number ------------------

b)the smallest 3-digit even number---------------------
