I opt for after school care as my girl will just play with her toys when she reaches home from school. At least, if she has done all her homework during after school care, she can relax once she gets home. Of course as parents, we still need to monitor her progress in school and even her time at after school care. So, I would consider schools with a good after school care programme.

My wife teaches my girl most of her subjects while I help with the Chinese spelling.

It seems to work out pretty well. I guess my girl can focus pretty well because we have always been emphasizing the importance of keeping her focus and finishing the project she has taken on.

Canossa Convent Primary is having its Open House on 1 July 2017 (Saturday).

I hear they have a very comprehensive values-centric programme to inculcate values in our girls. What I especially like is the supportive and inclusive environment as the CCPS girls work and play alongside the Canossian School (hearing impaired) girls so they become more nurturing and compassionate as a result. The class sizes are smaller than at most schools so the teachers can pay greater attention to each child.

I'm excited to go to their Open House this Saturday. Hope to see many like-minded parents there!
