It’s the sense of belonging & brotherhood of the school that attract my boy 🙂 Hope he will be able to cope well & have lots of life-long friendship who strive him to be a better person & make the school proud in times to come

Every year, this time, the S4 / Y4 gentlemen (the boys are called ‘gentlemen’ @ CHS) will have their Farewell Assembly, and they will sing 朋友 & the school anthem, and recite the school pledge together for the last time @ CHS. Parents are invited to attend the final assembly with their boys. A touching moment for all ...

Ya, my boy & I really like that ‘when the bell rings’ series & learn a lot from it!

Maybe it’s the bunch I mix with I guess. Most of them was eyeing those schools for their kid & now recommending them to me. My guess is maybe NCSC was the best around SK area & dunman is the best co-Ed. Btw, are there any different in the kids that goes to co-Ed or pure boy school?

But during the few open-house we went to, I must say that CHS boys seems to be more refine & really stands out from the others. Not like what others say that boys from boy school are more rough.

Hi MerlionInGermany. Ya, most would suggest RI, Dunman or SJI or Nan Chiau. Some of them don’t even know about CHS & most was surprise when we told them the score needed to get in was around 250. Actually we never heard of CHS until 1 of the ex-student recommended it & ask us to check it out

Curious why it’s not as highly sought after as the others (Dunman, Nan chiau etc)? Is there something that we miss (offer more subject)? We went to a few open-house & CHS really gave us a sense of belonging with it ‘my blood is green’ slogan. The students are very well-behave & actually more refine than those from the more reputable school :)!

Hi all, I’m new here :). We were looking around for school for my boy for next year & so far he’s really comfortable with CHS compared to others (he’s really supportive of CHS when we watch the national science challenge on tv). How is the school compared to others? This school is quite low profile compared to other school around the same cut off score.
