Hi Buds

      Hi, Favored1! :imanisland:

In my case, I'm more pumped up now with my boys than with my girls back then. Financial resources are a tad better than before so I invest more in Montessori for my boys. They are loving it! Because they love it, they inspire me to do up even more. Gosh they learn so fast! I am trying to keep up with both their sensitive periods. šŸ˜“ It gives me an adrenaline rush!
Also may I know where did you get those flowers from? I usually print them from online but it always better to work with models than cards.
I don't buy stuff from a fixed place. They're from all over the place. Whenever I'm out, my eyes are always on the prowl for cool stuff I can add to my Montessori collection. Started as a fetish.. then passion.. but now I think it's safe to honestly call it - an obsession! šŸ˜‚

You can find big n pretty flowers from most artificial flower stalls/shops, neighbourhood markets, IKEA, Daiso, Cold Storage (etc). The three-part cards are my own creations.

I made some sets for friends and other Montessori moms and enthusiasts as well because they said it's easier. Faster to just teach with ready material rather than scramble all over the place to find stuff to prepare the environment for learning. I sure hope their children are loving them too.

PS. I have a spare set of the flowers collection with three part cards, if you're keen to get it. Lemme know. šŸ˜„

See ya around more, yeah? šŸ˜‰

Welcome to KiasuParents & to the Montessori thread. :welcome:
Thanks!

Ya! I was more motivated to teach my son using Montessori because he was absorbing so fast & well! My no2 pace isn't as fast & I'm getting wee bit sluggish. I used to DIY lots of stuff too! Now I just buy- I figured I rather pay to save me time to make my own, now that I've more kids to mind. :yikes:

But really, you are rubbing your enthusiasm and passion on me! Thanks to you I've a new found inspiration for Montessori! šŸ™‚

Hi guys, I've been a lil hooked up doing up materials to work with my boys as they are learning so fast now. I'm trying to fill up my shelves with interesting stuff for them to work with daily.

I put together some model animals (plus a few other stuff) and segregated them into different categories, like some of these below...

The boys are learning to appreciate beautiful things in our environment and the lil one can say \"far-wers\" (ie. he meant to say flowers) šŸ˜‚... so I did up a flower basket for them to learn the names of different flowers.

I made 3-part cards corresponding to all the models that I put up on the shelves too....... but I gotta go now, will show you more later and continue to share more on what the boyz and I have been up to. :imanisland:

      Hi Buds

I am inspired! I've used Montessori to home teach my elder boy and I've seen the effects (positive) on him. Now with my number 2, I have seem to lost that inspiration and desire to home teach with Montessori. But this post rekindled my passion! I'm inspired all over again! Thank you!

Also may I know where did you get those flowers from? I usually print them from online but it always better to work with models than cards.
