My son will be placed at 1 Opal class next year. How do they randomly place the students in different classes?

I understand that Amethyst is the top class from P3 onwards.

No, they don't stream lower primary anymore, therefore no specific method of placing in P1. However, coming to mid of P1, kids will be stream for foundation and advance Chinese class. To know where your child stands, find out whether they are top 10% of whole of P1 at the end of the year based on their P1 results. These cream of kids will likely be in P3 1st class provided they maintain in P2.

--- how can I know my son is top 10% or top 20%? the report book didnt show us the ranking in the class or whole p1 students. top 10% means he should be top 3 in the class

English Writing test.

we have some Chinese writing home works and some papers before the test. but I haven't seen any English writing test for practicing paper. my son told me he practiced in MLEA book. but the book I haven't seen in this term 3. my son didn't show me as too many errors?

my Son is in 1 AM.


Next Monday he will have writing test. but actually I didnt find he did any home work in his term 3 about the writing. any one know this test’s requirement?

this forum about Keming looks very quiet. we were asking some but rare ppl would give an answer. what other bbs we can discusss about the P1 kids in Keming ?

my son is studying in Fu hua, jurong east. if not concern about the dist., do need to transfer to Keming? my wife thought KeMing is better than Fuhua, overall, but no reason support. any comments?
