Hi there, I am looking for a teacher with experience teaching mature adults, and who can put together a customised program. I am a soon to retire male with close to 2 years lessons using the Faber’s adult piano adventures Books 1 and 2. Current teacher is quitting. I have own piano , but need to take lessons at teachers place or music school . Don’t mind a private teacher or teacher at music school. Prefer walking distance from Toh Yi estate in Upper Bukit Timah area. Can attend lessons on Saturday mornings. Not going for graded exams. But hope to eventually attain grade 8 like skills. Hi all, thank you to all the teachers who have contacted me. Really appreciate it. May I give an update on my status? I have recently started lessons with a new teacher. Given that, I have stopped looking out until the need arises again. I feel blessed to be able to pick up piano at my age. Better late than never. It is a really wonderful musical instrument to learn and to play on. God bless all.

Hi there, newbie here. I have a question. With so many reputable second shops selling quality refurbished pianos, does anyone still see the benefits of buying brand new? I checked out brandnew prices at authorized agents and they are at least 2X the prices of used ones. Worth it?
