If I register my child in School A using my new address under Phase 2C and if unsuccessful, can I then try with my current address in School B (under Phase 2C-S) using my current address?

Quoted from letter (to Aroozoo parents):

2013 fees (before GST and subsity)
Full day (7am-5.30pm): $1450
Full day (7am-7pm): $1660
Half day Morning: $1080

It is anticipated there will be a more moderate increase from Jan 2014 (around 5%) to keep pace with projected cost increases.

I think different branches have different pricing. You may want to check with the branch that your child is at.

Oh dear. This is bad. I still have not received the official letter from the school. I wonder if it is because of the take over by UK. Some of the other CC brands under them have monthly fees of over $1600++ a month.

I'm afraid you will be disappointed. They have announced a 5% increase in Jan 2014 (giving us more than 1 year's notice!).

I'm pulling my girl out of Pat's School in Jan.

ESA, my son has been with Pat's Schoolhouse Lakeside for the last six mths and is settling in quite well. He enjoyed school and his progress is pretty good, in terms of his speech and being independent. His class teachers are patient, friendly and work hand-in-hand with parents, eg. detailed record of the daily progress and happening, and seek advice from parents/ align with them on discipline/child's preference. The principal is very experienced and hands-on; I spotted her a few times on the grounds to work with the teachers. The school is open/transparent, as they allow parents to enter the classroom during pick up if we want to (unlike the previous CC, parents have to stay at main entrance and the whole area is masked). The environment is a bit old but it is spacious, clean and comes with an outdoor playground. The child:teacher ratio is small which is suitable for my child who likes attention. In fact, I was a little concern about the fees initially but looking at my child doing well, I am at ease when I am at work. I just hope they will not increase the fees.

Is PSH the only one under the KU chain to include a new policy of 2 months’ deposit for parents paying the fees by cash/cheque (not using GIRO)?

Isn’t cash is king? Seemed like it’s not the case with PSH/KU.

My girl is in Aroozoo and her class now has 4 cases of chicken pox over the last 2 weeks.

Apparently, one of the earlier infected case came back with clearance from the doc, but still has visible scabs. This in turn, infect the later 2 cases.

I have taken my girl out of school for the next 2 weeks for precautionary measures.

Aroozoo parents, please take note.

My child is also in PSH Aroozoo and they have a long wait list. If you’re not willing to pay, I’m sure the long wait list will be.

In previous years, you may still stand a chance.

But with the new \"Singaporeans first\" priority, I doubt you can get through to the schools of your choice without balloting.

I just drove past Aroozoo campus over the weekend. It is still under construction. I was just wondering if it will be in time for orientation by end of Dec. :xedfingers:
