You can actually apply even whilst u’re having yr current helper with you. What u need to do is not just apply but go to the tab that says “Replacement”. The rule is u’ve to release yr current helper within 30 days upon transferring yr current helper away or when yr new helper arrives, whichever is earlier. If u need yr current helper a little longer, u can apply for extension.

When applying for a new helper, if both parties do not hv bad records, you shld be able to submit yr new helper’s WP in the morning & get In-Principle Approval by afternn.
