jetsetter:No 360 reviews of either... thus all \"suffering\" in silence.frusparents:Any ideas or advice on how to deal with these 2 type of people in the office:
1) the boss who always take planned or urgent leave or MC on days when there's important meetings, negotiations, project kick-offs, major projects implementations etc. Basically, he appears on times of small issues and throw his weight around. But on days where bigger/difficult issues are expected, he \"disappears\". Mostly by taking leaves or MC, or by claiming he has other meetings but actually hiding in his own office.
got 360 supervisor review in your coy? Slam your boss in confidence.
2) bossy and busybody colleague. This pax will probe for info regardless whether it concerns him or not. At times, he also will MIA from meetings, but after that kept asking and probing what was discussed during the meeting. Most irritatingly is, he will have lots to comment and say, or suggest, but never offering to help. Meaning, even though he is part of the team, but whatever suggestions or ideas he put forth, he expects us to carry it out. Unlike the rest of the team, usually if we can an idea, we will suggest and carry it out ourselves.
same. if got 360 peer review, slam your colleague too!
The way this guy shoots his mouth off with words and suggestions but no actual action, causes alot of unnecessary extra work to the rest of the team. Cos, unfortunately, the boss (same one stated above), has no ideas of his own and will take whatever this guy suggest then assign us to do.
got Facebook Confessions page? If yes, slam them both online.
Haha I like your \"slam them both online\".
I refrained from doing so as much as possible la, but sometimes really tak boleh tahan then.... once or twice la...
