I heard from a colleague his dd hosted a Japanese exchange student. Don’t assume Japan is Tokyo bcos there are many cities/towns so sg can be an eye opener for some. I think nothing beats our local hawker centers with all our local delights. Museum free entry in august, can visit some. For outdoor, pulau ubin if adventurous? Of course must try seafood there

I prefer Jap or Taiwanese. Had a good Taiwanese tour guide before when I visited Tokyo 3 years ago. Not pushy at all.
