RE: 2014 P1 Registration Exercise for 2015 In-Take
When MOE website gets updated tonight, will the figures include online application?
Seems that now they implement online application, it is nowhere here nor there. Can’t even tell if we are getting a complete picture
Yes, it is updated. Moreover, online applications end today at 4.30pm. The on-site status at the respective schools will be up to date tomorrow. -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
This number seems pretty risky for even those within 1 km.
22 more to go… can only pray… -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
But does this number include those who register online?
Yes, included… Can call the school to check, they are quite forthcoming in telling us the current status. -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
Update on MSHS as of 1600hrs
Within 1km - SC = 32, PR = 0
1km-2km - SC = 8, PR =3
Outside 2km - SC = 4, PR = 1
Balance = 6
For those within 1km, don’t look at the balance, look at how many SC within 1km applied. It is now at 32 and there are 54 available… -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
As suggested, I have registered at MSHS. Hopefully some may choose other schools seeing the number of applications. Now only can cross fingers and pray…
Did you happen to check the overall application status? -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
I am within 1 km. But still worrying. Balloting was never needed at phase 2B but look at this year’s. Hopefully ppl may flock to St Andrews. I have no back up plan as 2C supplementary choices are really not in my list at all. I looked at Cedar Pri for supplementary but past years shown no space at that stage. What abt u?
Yes, we are within 1km from MSHS as well.
Based on this year’s Phase 2B stats at MSHS, there are 22 SC within 1km and 7 SC from 1-2km. Balloting only happened for SC >2km.
For last year’s Phase 2C, there were 46 SC <1km.
Can only pray that there will be <54 SC applicants within 1km for this year’s Phase 2C at MSHS. -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
That’s why I am getting worried. For the past years, the numbers were still ok. But for this year, the numbers are all out of expectations
Hi,
Are you within 1km of Maris? -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
[quote=\"chuagr\"]Hi garfcheng,
Last year MSHS had intake of 300, 75 vacancies left for 2C. 46 boys within 1km. This year intake reduced to 270 so may only have 75-30=45 seats in Phase 2C. With Bartley Residence & some new developments, there may also be more applying within 1km.
Are u applying for MSHS too?
Yes, we are applying for MSHS for our boy. We've checked, owners of Bartely Residence will not be eligle for 2015 P1 registration as their official TOP date is after 1 Oct 2017, which is beyond 31 Dec 16 where the 2015 P1 batch completes their P2.
Hi, may i ask who you check with ? I read from a mummy blogger where she mentioned she used her barley residence purchase to register her son last year under 1km. It will be good new for me if the bartley resident cannot register under 1km.[/quote]
Hi,
I don't think that is possible as according the Bartley Residences Sales & Purchase Agreement, the official date of handing over is 1 Oct 2017. See: http://www.propertynewlaunch.sg/bartley-residences/ \t
Quoted from MOE website FAQ,
\"I have purchased a yet-to-be completed property and should be moving in after the property is completed. Can I make use of the new home address for the purpose of registration?\"
\"Yes. The new home address can be used provided that you are able to produce evidence from the relevant authority that you have committed to the purchase of this property.
In the case of private property, you must produce the original Sales and Purchase Agreement. For the 2014 Primary One (P1) Registration Exercise, the date of commitment by the developer in the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) must not be later than 31 December 2016.\"
Thus, for this year's P1 registration, owners of Bartley Residences will not be eligible.
