My dd just joined Kheng Cheng P1 this year. I am very surprised that the homework she got from the beginning of 2nd week of school is the writing of 2 alphabets (upper and lower caps) each day. I have checked with a few of my friends whose kids are in P1 in other schools, but they didn't have to do this.

So you have a twin! Now my girl doesn't bring her alphabet homework back coz she finish it at sch. Maybe yr boy did e same

Hi there, any kids taking school bus no 1?

my kids taking the no1 bus and have problem with the bus's aunty. My kids P1, their stop is the last stop. As its the last stop, Im sure they are pretty tired by the time they reach their stop. And they doze off. The bus aunty in order to wake my son up, she pulls his ear.. till its so red and painful.

I only noticed it when i saw his ear.. when we reached home. Im not sure other kids has this problem with this bus aunty or not. We have made a complain to the bus company.. that was on the 1st week of school. And today she did it again.

Anyone has the same problem wth the bus aunty?

Should i complain to the school instead?

I think you should. If she needs to wake yr boy she can just shake his shoulder or arms. My friend who's girl takes e school bus also complain that an Aunty is very fierce, prob e same Aunty.

can someone kindly write a summary of pcf kindergarten.

i m very confused.
1) are school fee standard at $200 / mth?
2) at K1 level, what should the teacher be teaching now ( term 2)?

i m asking because my DD in this pcf kindergarten (TPY) still pratice writing letters a,b,c only...

i m seriously considering to transfer DD to other kindergarten if needed.

Can anyone comment on YMCA in Bishan and Little Campus? Anyone tried them? Are they able to help prepare the kids for Primary 1?

My coll's gal attending the classes @ YMCA Outram... seems quite good. I'm also considering YMCA @ Bishan, but i stay in tpy... i wonder if there's sch bus...

I've just check out YMCA and YWCA in Bishan. Both do not have school bus.
