My daughter is taught by Miss Jamie Pang of Leng Kee CC. Took her pre-primary (not graded) ballet exams last week. I would recommend Miss Pang, she’s professional and knows how to handle the kids in my opinion… My daughter was in waiting list to learn at SBA, but i don’t see a need to change her ballet teacher anymore. Miss Pang is good enough, met my expectations. Previously, she learnt from another CC for abt 6 months, i stopped her lessons there.

Want to clarify something… i heard only certs or grading by STF or it’s affilates is recognised? They can join certain competition if they are not members of STF?

You made good choice, my 2 ds in the same club as urs but different location.
Dun buy from Liang Seng, theirs are for Singapore TKD Federation, is different. Check with ur instructor for uniform, no worry for salesman
tactics cos they promote martial arts, not sales. In fact, the centralize grading is this Sun. You can come and see hw the kids earn their belts! Oh, girls wear white t shirts beneath the uniforms.

Just registered my daughter for taekwondo at the CC. Does Taekwondo really help oneself to learn to defend themsleves? Does anyone know what she has to prepare? How much is their uniform? Also, for gals, what do they actually wear in their uniform? Is it a must to buy the uniform first? Becos im afraid she might tell me she wants to quit taekwondo after 3 months. Anyone here dont mind giving away those your child has outgrown?
