As moe change new rule which no more streams as express , normal and NE…
I wonder does it mean DSA aim for normal neighbourhoods schools also useless?
Under old stream system… as long as you get in via DSA no matter to which school as least is under express…
Now under new system does it mean if not aim for popular school or IP … no point go using DSA for normal school as there will not be confirmation under express?

Hi, i wonder is it must to pass or get the swim safer stage 3 before p6? My kid is very scared of water. So i am planning just let her pass the stage 2 is enough.

However, i heard from others if you don’t get the swim safer stage 3 meaning when you go to secondary schools … school will arrange a swimming lesson after school to learn for stage 3 and it is mixed unisex learning together. Is it true?
If only get swim safer stage 2 in primary … does it mean secondary still need to learn after school and must get stage 3?
As i prefer kids more focus in study rather than swimming if they are not aim swimming as professional in future

Anyone got experience what are the content during DSA chinese dance interview?

For the dance skills will the school inform applicants what skills need to do during interview?
Before shortlist for dance interview, already require submit video for the dance…does it mean during interview need to reperform ?
Any writing tests, asking questions during interview?

Just curious what is the interview for the chinese dance DSA?

Normally schools require  the applicants  to submit video and upload whatever related certificates before arrange interview.

Just wonder is the schools going to ask the applicants to do all the dance basis techniques during the interview or just talk interview?

I would like to find out whether got parents agree for kids apply DSA when their own primary school got direct secondary school?

My kids primary school is a very good school and they have their direct secondary school.
I am just worried if they cannot get in the direct secondary school if PSLE not good. So i want to do a back up.
Thinking to prepare DSA....not sure it is right thing to do or not 😅
I am thinking if really can get a good school via DSA same time if the psle result at the end good and can remain go same direct school....
Can i at the end choice to remain the same school rather take the other school i get in vis DSA?

I am planning this coming dec holiday bring 2 kids (8 and 5 years girls) to US Disney Cruise in Miami. After the crusie we are planning to flight to Orlando stay 5days 4 nights.
I plan 1day go disney world(only animal kingdom and epcot park…which 2 parks 1 day)
1 day go universal studio(only Harry Potter park…which still 2 parks 1 day)
1 day go NASA space center and shopping
1 day shopping in factory outlet.
Here are some questions hope any parents can help me
1) any hotels good to go for above places, dun want to change different hotel everyday
2) singapore driving licence can rent a car in orlando?
3) i heard if go space center , there is no public transport?
4) my husband thinks not worth to go space center if need special transportation, which i feel it is very special place for kids explore. Any parents feel i should skip the space center this time.
5) my husband think if go space center, there is no time for shopping?
6)we after the disney cruise get off in miami morning abt 8am, any parents got experience whether possible to catch the 1pm flight to orlando?
