I was at Wilkie today as well, and yes no sign of any works done. I’m wondering if they can really meet the Dec 2023 timeline to move back… Does anyone have any info?

Marymount used to have a Secondary school section, several years ago. But the Secondary school, had since been closed down, by MOE.
You may read Marymount history here, about her past Secondary school Section.

      https://marymountconvent.moe.edu.sg/about-us/our-heritage/history-of-marymount

      Today,

P6 graduands of Marymount primary can be admitted to any Secondary school our girls here desire, as long as their past Tscore qualified them to, as long as they were able to meet the admission Cut off point, for the various Secondary schools.

But, if you are asking -

Is there any particular unique Secondary school, that majority of our Marymount PSLE graduates \"cluster \" together, then the answer is

      No

Starting wef 2021 ( this year),
all students here will be admitted to Secondary schools, either based on DSA path, or by the ability to meet the Cut-off-point (in terms AL points), in various respective Secondary schools.

By end of Semester 1, that is, by end of 2021 Term 2 (June),
MOE will publish all the Secondary schools' AL Cut off point.

As for your daughter, if she is P6 this year, she would know roughly what's her Total AL score going to be, after her mid-year SA1 (coming May) is over. Alternately, can also refer to her last year 2020 P5 SA2 AL score.

      From there,
you can roughly estimate which Secondary schools your girl can apply to, by comparing her P6 SA1 AL score, against the list of published MOE Secondary schools' AL Cut-off-point.

      However, note that
this only provide a rough estimate

      because

this year 2021 PSLE actual set questions that are going to come out,

can be (easier or more tricky)

than those August Prelim P6 SA2 questions standard, set by Marymount primary school.
Thank you for your reply! My daughter is actually in k2 and because I'm an alumni from a primary school with an affiliated secondary school.. Yet I'm very keen on Marymount, I was curious where the girls usually go to after primary school. I would expect schools of similar values like Chijs or other mission schools but it seems like it's not the case! Thanks for your reply!

Hi All! I’m interested in enrolling my daughter in the school. Given that there is no affiliated secondary school, may I find out what are the usual secondary schools that the kids apply to go to after their p6? Thanks!

Hi all! Does St Marg's still accept Parent volunteer for 2023 P1 registration ? Also is there open house this year as well?

      https://stmargaretspri.moe.edu.sg/about-us/school-information/admission

SMPS no longer offer PV scheme.

As with all schools in SG, due COVID, there will be no physical open house. You can look out for news on e-open house.

      Thanks for the reply!

Hi parents! I am hoping to do Parent Volunteer for CHIJ Toa Payoh, so that we can quality to apply under phase 2B. We are within 1km. However I saw in a prev post 10years ago that chij tpy doesn't have PV anymore because they don't need volunteers.. They have strong alumni support in volunteering. Is that true? Thank you.
This is what is stated on their PV sign up form (link: https://form.gov.sg/#!/6008f39c7c02660013874f90)

“Please take note that the school only takes in parent volunteers from parents whose children are currently enrolled and already studying in the school. Please complete this form if you are keen to be involved in the activities of your daughters in the school. The Central Parents Council (CPC) will reach out to you via mobile phone and/or email.“

The key reason why some popular Catholic/Christian schools do not take in PVs for Phase 2B purposes, is that their church members already face oversubscription at 2B <1km. They don’t wish to throw in PVs into the competition.[/quote]
Thank you for your quick reply! Sigh, looks like I will find another school nearby with a strong emphasis on character development.
