      Hi

does anyone know the approximate dates for SA1 exams for IP girls?

      thanks!

      It's around 5/6 onwards.
In CA2, for the IP level, last yr there were paper 1 and 2 for Eng Language and Higher Chinese compared to 'O' level girls who hv 1 paper each.

Another paper 'Social Studies' tested for IP level too.

Test scope for IP level in humanities subjects is more and so duration is longer.

Hi can anyone advise when the timetable, for the IP (sec one) SA that starts on 5 may, will be out? I checked the school website and it's not there. Just thought it would be useful to know what subjects will be tested on which days. Thanks very much .

What is the recommended number of auditions to attend in a day? Thanks! šŸ™‚

      Hi
During the briefing on sat, I recall the teacher suggesting about 4-5 auditions (max). I think it depends on your DD's interests. For my DD, we have selected to go for three auditions. Hope it works out and she gets one of her choices. :xedfingers:

Which website to go to select the CCA auditions? I cannot find it on the st nicholas girls school website.

Suppose to log into MconLine portal web site.
Maybe it's not ready yet as the girls have to go for audition trail next week.

My daughter was given this URL
      http://sngs.adminbreeze.com

      User id: nric no
      Password: date of birth

We selected the auditions through here.
      Hope this helps.

Hi, in case you are not already aware - the school's enrichment programme schedule is out on the school website. Looks like busy days ahead for the girls šŸ™‚

Hi does anyone know what AESTand ME is?

Hi. According to DD, aesthetics (AEST) consists of music(you learn to sing and appreciate music of different cultures), design & technology and home economics.

ME is music education but I am unsure how it is different from music under aesthetics.

      Maybe someone can help?

    • RE: Paya Lebar Methodist Girl's School (Secondary)

My DD graduated from paya lebar MGS last year. Our experience has been positive. Teachers are very caring. During the period running up to O levels, the teachers will be rostered to stay back and accompany students who need to study in school till about 9 pm. They also thoughtfully prepared food/snacks for the girls in case they were hungry. I would strongly recommend this school to any parent considering it.
