new to this. boy is born in 2006. intending to enrol him under Phase 2B. however, realise that my place is >2km (abt 2.1km)

if balloting is unsuccessful, and i manage to get into another pri sch under Phase 2C, what is the chance of a transfer back to HIPS? Any mummies done that before?

Also, abt the higher chinese thingy - is it true that Higher Chinese is not offered to all students? I thought the opt out is dependent on the wishes of the parents?
