    • RE: Paya Lebar Methodist Girl's School (Secondary)

Hello parents, Im a student from PL and to answer your question about the pace of lessons, yes it is quite fast, however, If your daughter pays close attention in class, takes notes and revises at home, she would have no problems in school. If your daughter still has questions regarding school work, there is consultation sessions on Thursdays from 2.10 to 3.10. Your daughter will be able to meet specific subject teachers at specific locations and get help from her teachers. There are 8 classes in each level , 6 Express, 1 NA and 1 NTand there is a average number of 40 students for each class . According to my friend in Band CCA, no musical background is required, however the chance of getting into band may increase if your child has her talent identified in the talent identification . As a student, yes. I would say the seniors are nice and friendly, and no, there are no bullies, however there are some rude students which don’t really mean any harm. And yes the teachers are caring. We have pastoral care every Monday morning where we get to meet and talk to our form and co-form teacher , cell- group (prayer group) every Thursday before consultation where the teacher pray for us (not compulsory) and LiVE lessons every Friday where we spend time with our form and co-form teacher.
