I love Le creuset cos it can go from the cooker to the oven or vice versa. And it looks good so i serve food directly from it. One less item to wash up. But this brand is expensive but you don't need many pieces anyway. I also have couple of items from scanpan.Happy Mama:
Thank you, bb_mom and bebehub
Oh yes, is there any particular brand worth looking out for? -

ChiefKiasu:
I'm on induction cooking too. It's ok, but I suspect the energy consumption could be quite high. We hardly cook now, so we can't tell for sure, but it takes like 15 mins to boil my kettle full of water at the \"average\" temperature setting as opposed to less than 5 mins on my normal electric kettle, so the efficiency is certainly not there for these types of activities.
I see.. Thanks for your reply. Chief

RE: Induction Cooker
Hi, not sure if anyone has posted anything on this..
I am thinking of changing my cooker to Induction Cooker. Any feedback from users? Any cons of using induction cooker? Also, are the pots very expensive and very hard to find? I know cost is one factor cos we've got to change the entire set of pots...
Sorry for asking such questions as I'm totally clueless about such stuff... Thks much
