    • RE: Comparing Chinese Enrichment (Primary/Preschool)

      Fuzz:
Hi all, I've called chinese bridge. They sell the Qiao Hu dvd in a learning kit, $29.90 for the kit. Each kit comes with some toys, book and a dvd, and it covers 8-10 units (i.e. themes/topics i think).

The lady I spoke to was v helpful but her explanation was all in chinese, so this is the info I managed to get with my 'koyak' chinese!

They have dif learning kits for age 3 to 6 yrs. The school is at Jurong East, but they can also deliver to Crestar branches becos they provide the Chinese enrichment at Crestar. So if u're keen to order, u can call Jade 66657558.
Hi Fuzz, Glad that you got the info d.
Last Saturday i went to the Chinese Brige and talked to Jade (she is the school head), like what you said, she told me that they have licensed programmes at Marine Parade, Hougang and Serangoon. So you can actually contact her and ask her to send the learning kits to these centres. I think it would be much more convenient for those who stay far from JE.

Btw, i found some video in YouTube, hope that it helps 😃

      Fuzz:
Hi need some advice on which chinese enrichment is suitable. I've heard berries is quite fun and some of the comments i've read in this thread seem to say the same thing. I'm keen on a centre which makes it fun for the kids cos I don't want my boy to dread going for classes. Any other suggestions?

Can anyone also recommend some good Chinese cartoons on DVD? I don't really like the ones I've seen so far. Somehow the english cartoons always seem so much better!
      Hi Fuzz,

Not sure have you heard about \"Qiao Hu å·§č™Ž\", i think it's originated from Japan. My child is learning in Chinese Bridge language school and the centre recommends this cartoon to their students.. My dd seems enjoy it very much. But i don't think you can find it in pasar malam... Can try to contact the school if you are interested...

    • RE: Crestar Art Enrichment Programme

      MomOfOne:
      Hi

my dd has just started art classes 1 mth ago. So far, I am ok with the class and she is enjoying herself. Besides drawing, there are craft work incorporated into the lessons. Hence, it is not solely drawings for every lessons. Have not tried other art schools besides Global Art so do not really know how to compare. Unlike Global Art which I find emphasized a lot on colouring and blending, I prefer the things being taught at crestar. Hope this helps.
      Hi MomOfOne,

      Thanks a lot!
I have sent my daughter to the art class 😃 Like what you said, besides colouring and drawing, Crestar also emphasizes on other stuff like art craft and 3D design which i find quite interesting. So far my daughter really enjoy the class...

    • Crestar Art Enrichment Programme

I am considering to enrol my child in an art enrichment class. I heard from my friend that her daughter is learning in Crestar and she seems enjoying it very much. Any parents have experience of the school and care to share about it?
