    • RE: All About Ordering Birthday Cakes

i had a 2kg ($81.20) Bengawan Princess cake last year as the school asked me to bring in min 1.5kg for class of 18 kids and 2 teachers, end up i fed the entire school and still leave with a lot of cake!

this year the school say 2kg cake at least as the class has 24 kids, not gonna bother but 1kg cake might be a bit challenging to share among 24 kids and 2 teachers + 1 admin + 1 principal and since Bengawan do not bake 1.5kg cakes, i opted for a 1.5kg from a neighbourhood cake shop instead, cheap ($48) and good (big) hahaha

    • RE: Curry Fish Head

      Hi, need help!

my fav fish head curry is the 煲煲 stall @ NTUC kopitiam in Bedok Interchange, next to BATA/OCBC.

the stall is side by side to 南南 curry but i prefer 煲煲 as its assam style with tomatoes, brinjals, yam, cabbages etc.

they have moved after the kopitiam reno and i cannot find them anymore, by far, that’s the best claypot fish head curry i feel.

the stall oso sell other dishes / veg all in claypot stype. anyone know where they are now?

    • RE: Dancepointe - Discussion

just to share, i signed up with DancePointe for a term and decided not to continue…

reason is i was promised that the class size will be max 12 and ended up i see new kids turning up for trial every week as they intend to increase the size to 20 giving me reason there are 2 teachers but from what i observed, the asst teacher is quite redundant and not really correcting the kids…

on top of that, they allow parents of existing students to enter the studio as and when though i was told parents are to remain outside… there will always be at least 2 new kids attending the class as trial every week and i find this very disruptive too…
