    • RE: Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)

      Hello guys,

I am a IP student currently going on to Year 4 next year. I am not exactly a huge fan of the IB programme (dont ask me why i just dont like it). I would rather take the a levels instead. So I am planning to go to RJC/NJC etc for JC1. So my question is, is it possible for a IP student to change school at JC1? (I was not DSAed to ACSI) Also, will i be disadvantaged in the application process since I am in the IP stream? I scored pretty well this year with a overall of more 40 points but lesser than 43 points (sorry dont want to tell my exact score since some might figure out who I am) and was also in the top 10% of the cohort and top 10 in my class. (which I consider an achievement given that most people in my class are GEP geniuses). So what are my chances in getting to JCs? Does anyone know of people who have made this switch? What are my chances of doing so? Any help would be greatly appreciated
