Hi Chief,
Where is it located? Does it have a number of centers or just by itself?
They have quite a number of branches, 7-8 centers.

i saw some review when they were still called 'The write corner'. Not so positive though
not sure if they improved after rebranding.

OT : Just out of curiosity, why SK Green and Rivervale are so popular?
This won’t be a fair complaint for Sengkang though.
For NCPS, you can be sure it’s 99.9% within 1km. Has been the case of more than 100 applicants within 1km for the last x years.Rachellean\" post_id=\"1992022\" time=\"1597903858\" user_id=\"175470:

In the end, is it just frustrating when government keep telling you to choose nearby school but all nearby ones are fully occupied based on Alumni/ Clan/ Affiliation etc.
There are only three extremely popular schools in Sengkang - SK Green, NCPS, Rivervale (Compassvale and Springdale are also notable). Their <1km catchment generally do not overlap. Besides NCPS, none have significant number of alumni or PV to speak off. MK may have a significant impact this year but given that majority of the students live within 1km of the kindergarten, it’s considered their nearby school and they are simply jumping ahead of phases (much like PV attempts to).
Frankly, there are more than enough schools in SK to cater to the number of potential students. -
RE: Hua Cheng Education Centre - Discussion

Hi Soscate,
Hello bigmama. HuaCheng is similar to Wang Learning Centre - weekly Composition writing, model composition, Comprehension (Open-Ended), big class size. The pictures accompanying the composition can be brought home. It is the next best thing to Wang Learning Centre!
However, if you prefer an all-in-one course covering Composition, Comprehension and.Oral, small class size, then HCL Education is better. But they do not write a Composition each week (COC course).
Thanks for your sharing! If I may ask, how's the teaching approach in HuaCheng? Are the teachers strict and demanding? -
RE: 2020 P1 Registration Exercise for 2021 In-take
They need 2 days to verify online application for P2A1 before releasing the total number of applicant. If this remains the same for subsequent phases, there will be no way to gauge the application rate before a phase ends.

RE: All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

No. Equal chance for both student A and B.
Can someone enlighten me if for example a school has history of balloting for SC >2 KM, if student A live 4 KM from the school vs student B live 6 KM from the school, does student B has higher chance of being ballotted out? -
