Son is having a dilemma between going for NUS accountancy with a dean's scholarship and UCL Econs without scholarship (got straight As and in NS now, but hasn't gotten any scholarship offers from sponsors he's interested in). Your son's in NS now too? Overseas is always a good option for experience; no worries as UCL is pretty much recognized by many finance MNCs (I assume that's where someone who applies for econs and acc would be interested in?) If funding is an issue though, I'm not sure if it's possible but may consider trying other scholarship boards or re-attempting application. My son found this website offering sample questions for people to prepare for interviews, hopefully it'll be helpful to you. Cheers!

Am looking into this personally too. My son came across this site that offers a guide of over 60 sample interview questions from 10 different scholarship providers and said it was pretty helpful in preparing for his interviews. He's applying PSC and hopes to get it settled within first year of NS haha. Sharing it with whoever may need it too!
