Because of its wireless connection (not so stable as cable cctv), IP cameras sometime cannot connect to router, sometimes need to reset. But IP cameras are more flexible, no need cable work.
I recommend to install cctv system, more stable.

cctv can not put in maid’s bedroom, it will violate her privacy. You can put it in the living room.

I installed one and still keep this camera working even my maid had completed contract. If you need install one, you can search my thread in the forum.

Anybody need IP camera? I have extra one because maid left and no need anymore.

From my selling camera experience, better to install at least one camera at living room, you never know what will happen at home if there is a maid at home.
