So AL6M stands a very high chance to get in.

It’s within the criteria according to last year’s hopefully it doesn’t change this year and the number of students applying.
Also with a merit for higher Chinese, distinction will be placed before merit. Another cause for worry…

Thank you for your reply. I will give it a try. My concern is my daughter’s higher Chinese is merit and not distinction so not sure of the chances. Also need to take into consideration this year’s intake how many are apply for the school.

AL6D may require balloting depending on how many students applying each year.

Foresee many parents will push for IP instead of O level.
Schools with IP course could be more difficult to get in.
No matter how MOE/Minister does, it is always stressful to parents.
