Does the NA/NT students got affected too? If so, maybe really the increasing number of students due to 3 new schools. I know one of the schools didn’t do that well. Only 10 got above 250. Hence top classes should be scoring 200-230s. Rest should be NA/NT.

Yes. Neighbourhood one increased. The ones we chosen all can't get in despite meeting and above cut off points by 2. I called moe. They increased between 4-7 marks. Sigh. Ended up with 4th choice in which her marks were the last among the batch for this year COP.Hi, would like to inquire where the info about COPs came from? Is it a reliable source? If so, SIAN! Could get into NYGH... but never put in the choices :faint:
now got into a different school. Wonder what's the difference? Since it is still an IP school and considered quite 'favourable' in a sense. :frustrated: keep thinking of what could have been! Aiyo, I really feel so kiasu now because I created this account just to post this  but what to do?
Another thing I heard is that the so-called 'neighbourhood' schools cut off points have increased? (some) Can anyone verify?
Also, the school I mentioned above that DD will be attending's thread is quite inactive so I can't really get the opinions of those there... :?: -

Yeah, I feel so too for both, despite I know my DD will not be going to a fantastic school. Now good neighbourhood school competition is tough too. Sigh.anyone feels the same as me?
time seems to pass so slow while waiting for the sch allocation result..
waiting for PSLE result was not so bad though.. -

A few years back, I went to Nan Chiau High school for election officer training. Past by their class. Students were self discipline during recess. Totally impressed by their mannerism. They will bow to visitors. At around 5-6pm, I still see boys wearing spectacles hanging in school studying and greeted me as well. It's a really good school in Sengkang that many of us in the neighbourhood hoped for. I know a few students in Sec 1 last year who got in the schools. Their character are excellent too.Dear all
like to hear feedback on Nan Chiau and Chung Cheng High Main. Both schools are of almost same standard, both SAP schools, similiar chinese culture. Only difference is Chung Cheng high has affiliation to JC. Nan chiau is near my place whereas chung cheng high is far, about an hour journey.
Is it worth to travel so far for the affiliation?
Many thanks. -

Hi, any feedback for Meridian Sec and Tampines Sec?
Considered Meridian sec due to its enhanced art program but saw the straits time article about a serious case in this school that completely turns me off:

The final answers are provided by moe but solutions are by publishers. That’s the reason why different booklets from different publishers have different solutions. Some may be better than the others...
Oh I see. Thanks to both for the detail information!smileplease:
I heard psle booklet answers are by the publishers who came up with an answer, sometimes seek clarification with some markers. Not always correct. Moe don't provide answers. Unsure how true.
I am a Maths tutor, I have been doing PSLE Maths questions since 2013. I am not sure if MOE provides the answers to the publishers. So far, the answers are correct but the solutions may not be the shortest and easier ones.
I noticed that the solutions for some questions provided by EPH and ShingLee publisher are different. Starting from this year, EPH is selling at $4 but ShingLee is selling at $7 plus, both publishers with detailed answer booklet so i bought EPH.
For 2015 PSLE paper 2, Q11, the answer in EPH answer booklet is too lengthy and confusing so i will not see their solutions, I will use ratio and one item unchanged method to do it. -
