Why not if she likes TKGS, Zhonghua or Presbyterian High?
COP may change any year so there is a chance that any of these 3 schools changes from 13 to 14 and if that happens this year (for 2023 Sec 1 Intake), your DD will be able to get into the school.
It is important that you play it safe for at least 2 choices (5th and 6th).
All the best.

RE: How to select schools during S1 posting?
Advice please if it’s foolhardy to choose 2 schools with cop exactly at her Al score (13)?
Tentatively, our plan is:
1) TKGS 13
2) Zhonghua or Presbyterian High 13
3) TKSS 14
4) CHIJ Katong 15
5) Geylang Methodist 15
6) Bowen 16
What do you think?
Does anyone know if there was balloting for tkgs last year? I called the office but they cannot give me an answer.
Thank you -
RE: Presbyterian High
Hi all, would anyone know if there was balloting last year at AL13? My dad PSLE is exactly that score. What are here chances if she puts PH in her top 3 selection?

Thank you! I didn’t realize Kuo Chuan was 12. I will find a school with cop 16. Cross fingers for TKGS!
Seems OK. Note, I think Kuo Chuan was AL12 last year. If take out, is there anything else you would pick in the AL16-AL17 just as a bit more safety? I think it should be fine as is (two schools with +2) but others may suggest the last choice be a bit more conservative just in case. Anyways, good luck and hope she will get her first choice, TKGS! -

RE: Avoid Teflon and any other Non-stick pans!
I use both non enameled and enameled cast iron daily. for LC, like the other posters said, low to medium fire, let the pot heat up with oil (never heat empty). I let it sit for about 1-2 mins then add my ingredients. They don’t really stick when the pot is heated properly. But LC is not non-stick.
The bare cast iron like Lodge need to be seasoned to be non stick so can stir fry/deep fry. Mine non stick after a few years. Fry egg no problem with sticking.
LC grill pan/skillet is black enameled. Not the same as Lodge. They cannot be seasoned and you should use it like an enameled Dutch oven. The black is designed for higher heat cooking compared to Dutch oven white. -

daughter and i were at robinsons. we saw the LC non stick pan in a very sweet pastel colour. she was  , 'so heavy?'
The LC non stick is stainless steel. I think the pan you saw is enameled cast iron since its heavy and in pastel.
Their fry pans are coated with black enamel for frying purposes. Their Dutch ovens have a white enameled interior.
Most cast iron cannot be picked up with one hand for sure, I tried to flip my small 8 inch lodge pan, I suffered a slightly sprained wrist for weeks : )
