Congrats!! Thks for volunteering to verify the names!!!
Many parents really like strike lottery but i did see 1 mummy crying...so sad..
Hope to see u & your wife & your son around school in future!

I still can remember the lady who rolled our ball... wont forget her! Our lucky angel!

Which number is that? Maybe was my wife....we don't mind a treat :rahrah: ...haha.. Frankly, I was overjoyed and could not remember who rolled our ball..but definitely a father....Strangely, all the fathers went to roll the ball and less mothers....

Thanks a lot...I felt sorry for the 9..in fact MOE called me today in response to my request to increase the numbers of intakes to 49/-. They explained to me the constraint and that it is not possible to increase the intake further.

      Agree with Jedamum.

Actually, shouldn't phase 2A be subjected to the same distance ruling? So, instead of giving priority to phase 2A, divide the remaining places after phase 1 equally amongst the phase 2A, 2B and 2C. In the case of popular schools like Catholic, AiTong, St. Nic, these does increase the vacancies in phase2B and 2C quite substantially. It is somehow unfair to those who stay close to the school and yet subject to balloting (or 1-2km no chance even to ballot) when someone who stays far away from the school (e.g. I'm aware of: staying in Pasir Ris, kid in AiTong, staying in Ponggol, kid in RGS, staying in Jurong, kid in Pei Chun). With the distance, parents will need to ferry the kid to school by private cars, thus causing the traffic jams along these schools.
Perfectly agreed, why should those old school boys or girls who stay beyond 2 km be given priority...don't we want to reduce traffic conjestion? :slapshead: There are argument that by doing so, old school boys and girls will move to 1km, I do not see that as a major issue as how many will do that? Even all of them do that, at most only 100 a year? Better still if the government wants to promote a new estate, just shift a good school there and it will become matured very fast.... :hugs:

I am also one of the 49 applicants and first time to go through this. Frankly, I am quite disgusted with the system. Why do old school boys/girls who stays beyond 2 KM be give priority? Don't our government wants to reduce traffice conjestion? I think there should be a review of the phases.

I have a feeling govt will look into this eventually
However, any changes in future definitely won't be in time for this year's p1 registration

it taking too long. .when implement cooling measure and car loan, they were fast..

I think those phase 2A beyond 2 km should not be given priority, they should be after phase 2C…
