I would not think they belong to top tier .. they remind me of tj, a school fallen from grace, where the IP label cost them deeply until now they just gave vague results during a levels result day.

Can we safetly declare that NYJC is officially Singapore top 4 jc based on COP by beating NJC in 2 consecutive years? I think we must give them credit for that, an impressive rise n improvement beating many traditional long history established jc or IPJC. They don't hv the IP feeder school but manage to rise to the among the top, kudos to them.

Maybe there's the deal to avoid being makaned by another jc

It is expected as students intake has been increased as per MOE direction due to mergers. Once top schools increase their intake, the rest is like domino effect.

You don't get it that VS and VJC are related but not cedar . Cedar and VJ are related only through VCA i.e. IP. If you wan 2points then go IP or go VS or join those religious school where 2pts bonus are dime a dozen

No, no affliation for Cedar girls O level, to VJC.

Only have affliation for Cedar (IP) girls to VJC.

And also, affliation for VS boys (both O level and IP), to VJC

Very Sad to know about this. Why Cedar is not affiliated? It would be great if we get 2 bonus points while choose VJC after O-Levels. They should consider. When IP stream can able to enter VJC why not O-Levels also given more chance? After all both from same school.
