When do the bird shed its feathers hotter or colder months?

Hotter. During the cold months, air trapped between the feathers would reduce the rate at which the bird's body loses heat to its surrounding. This would prevent the bird from losing excessive heat and die as a result.

2A*2A will most likely get you an aggregate score of >250.

Take note that MT has to be A.

The question is about a diagram of a river and river flow. Then, a farm was placed at part 'G'. After G, fertilisers were washed into the river. Fishes were spotted dead. The question asked which graph will be possible.

For the nutrients: Before 'G', nutrients was high. At G onwards, amt of nutrients went down before going up again.
For the bacteria: Before G, none. After G, amt of bacteria increase and decreased.

I roughly could remember something like this.

Not fish dying, it should be submerged plants dying.

1)What about question on the pipe breaking when it is straight. (Bklet A)
I am assuming that there are fixed points on the pipe? As the pipe gains heat, it expands. Due to insufficient room for expansion, the pipe will break a result. Think of similar questions involving train tracks with gaps. When the pipe is curved(??), there is room for expansion. This allows the pipe to gain heat and expand without breaking.
Just worried cos he did really badly for his prelim. That's y I wish to know if these actual papers r indeed harder than what he got in his prelim... He is fm St. Hilda's

My child is from St Hilda's. Booklet A is easy. Booklet B has some hard questions but still manageable. Overall psle science paper easier than school paper. School prelim she did not do well for her booklet B.

My boy flung MT, Sc and Maths-all border line so I was very worried for him after reading they this thread. He mentioned his prelim papers were harder so I just pray he can pass all his subjects. Thank u Sunflower Mummy!
I am sure that your boy has tried his best and his results will turn out fine šŸ™‚
From what I know, St Hilda's paper can be challenging. If he has cleaered his Math and Science, they should turn out well eventually. MT is the one that might pull him down given that an average of more than 80% are achieving at least an A. Anyway, it is time for the child and parents to take a break. Meanwhile, it will be good to visit some schools' website to have a better idea of the COP and the programs that they offer.

The coconut is an excellent example of a water-dispersed fruit.

Which of the following characteristics of the coconut fruit help it in its method of disperal

(A) The coconut has waterproof husk

(B) The coconut fruit has a fibrous husk containing numerous air spaces.

(C) it is sweet and juicy
Based on feedback, I have edited the question. Answer would be A and B.

You are in NO position to insult \"StillThinking' well i guess u cant tell someone to work on their manners when ur obviousy lacking of manners.YOU SHOULD BE BANNED
If you do read carefully you would realise that my comments were not directed at him. They were examples to illustrate the importance of putting consideration into one's speech.

... think whether you shld edit it. Also, not being arrogant but i cannot take it lying down, but i did get the top 10% and eagles award last year.
It is good that you finally realised 'I mean no harm' serves no purpose when your comment is unappealing in general.

I have no wish to edit what my words. If you find it offending, so be it. Congratulations on your achievements, but character is not measured by what you get but how you act. Period and I will not further entertain you nor Tomson's reply.

I would like to mention that I feel as if you were just trying to take up 'quotes'(only 3 in a comment) when you said there was no explanation, like what? At first i wondered if you were even thinking to be honest, no harm meant but totally blown away by your comment. btw, i had to edit some parts above because of the quotes thing so hopefully i did not mess it up
I do not understand you. Firstly, what do you mean by taking up quotes? Is it something that I will stand to benefit? Secondly, I am pretty sure that I did give my comments a serious thought. As for you, that seemed to be lacking apparently. You are stupid. I mean no harm. You are brainless. I mean no harm. If you have a clear understanding of the question context, you would agree with me that his answer is incomplete- there is a missing explanation.

So before you start being blown away, I would suggest that you think before you shoot your mouth off.
