Ever wonder why knowing the vaccine is not useful in preventing spread, the big pharma are not doing further research to refine the vaccine? But are just so eager to continue to sell their vaccine as a booster.

    • RE: 2020 PSLE Discussions and Strategies(for those born in 2008)

Science MCQ…sometimes having too many choices may confuse the kids. So I taught my kids to eliminate 2 obviously wrong answer first and then focus on the remainder 2. Then u have a 50% chance of getting it right.

Some questions are pretty easy to eliminate the 2 wrong answer - example…when a range of readings is given in the 4 choices…the highest or the lowest reading is probably the right answer…the 2 readings in between can eliminate.

Modern dance CCA is held on Monday. I know Jap classes are held either Monday or Wednesday. So if you have a clash on Monday then you can arrange with Moelc to change your lesson to Wednesday.

    • RE: Property Views

Don’t read too much into the news until you really see prices coming down.

The only time I will consider getting a property is when the government relaxes the ABSD or loan requirement. Otherwise, all these news are just property developer making their agenda. They are profit driven, they will not look after the interest of the market or consumers.

    • RE: Tips to achieve good results?

What to do to get good results depends on which level the child is in now.

If the child is in lower primary, the focus should not be on the results but rather on cultivating good learning habits.

If the child is already in upper primary, then the focus will shift towards techniques, identifying weaknesses, practices and mental strength.

    • RE: How much $$ do you spend on kid’s tuition per month?

At JC level, did the kid asked for tuition or was it the parents suggestion? Tuition is just additional time spend on studying. This they can substitute with consultation session with teacher when they have queries or need clarification on certain topics. Otherwise, it justs more of their own time studying and internalising the knowledge.

I stopped all tuition once my kids reached secondary. I believe they have to find their own style of studying and their own drive to excel.

I cannot imagine sending them to tuition even at university level…

I think the solutions by the tuition centers over complicate the questions.

Just need to focus on the 2 semi circles by the side you will see the length. Don't need algebra, don't need shift the semi circles here and there.....simple circle properties will do.

Buying properties overseas also need to consider whether there are currency control in that country. Example, Thailand…can’t send your rental back to SG…

Can help on this? The answer is 2
Look at the direction of the batteries. Only in 2 the batteries balance out in opposite direction...The rest current would flow from positive to negative in the direction of the stronger batteries
