there is also very strict tour requirements as shown in briefing slides - some major ones listed

HOTEL NOT WITHIN 1KM OF SEEDY AREAS, MUST ABLE TO MONITOR STUDENTS IN CORRIDOR, EASY ACCESS TO NEAREST AIRPORT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ETC

BUS MUST BE CHECKED EVERY TIME BEFORE DEPARTURE, DAILY CLEAN, WELL AIR-CONDITIONED, ETC

WATER PROVIDED EVERYDAY (A LOT WAS PROVIDED)

      NO SPEEDING ETC

kind of high requirements that personally as a leisure traveller won’t even look into so detail HAHA.

😄 the kl trip was really great HAHA as a student but (know of) some students who couldn't go to the trip as they were sick last minute + some students weren't going because of (teacher never say why). They went back to school for lessons/study during the 1 week while we were away.

HAHA not many concerns though! the trip is really good, 1 bus per class! also food was at restaurants (in KL), 'cai-fan' style for 2 lunches (one near the Beach at Morib, Kuala Langkat) and once at FRIM park. otherwise will be at local restaurant. for hotel is Vivatel KL (4 stars , relatively new) and safe.

On tuesday night, we had about 40 mins to shop at the Giant Supermarket directly below hotel (the mall below hotel) - but the teacher only let us go there so it is safe.
But on Thursday Evening (the last evening) we ended early so the teachers gave about 2 hours to shop in the Mall, Viva Home. mainly furniture, but there was an expo hall selling adidas outlet but very long queue >3 hrs i guess?? but some parents may feel this 2 hours to shop ourselves in a group is not safe as it is KL and so! but the mall was downtown and kind of big, something like Plaza Singapura (but only half the floors) so safe lah.

The teachers kept saying people never properly lock hotel doors (because when you open the door from inside and go outside, the door lock will 'harden' and cannot close) and some people will just 'leave the door to auto-close' and sometimes never close the door properly which is quite dangerous!!)

      Floors are gender separated.
      Girls = 7, 8(only a few girls for some reason) , 9, 10, 11, 12
Boys = 7 (very few boys less than 10), 8 (rest)

Elevator is floor-controlled and safe! so it is like hostel but four stars hotel HAHA.
teachers will check room first night + randomly on other nights but personally only got checked on first night once.

😉 not a worry for P6 considering NJC. boarding also, shouldn't be a problem.

good luck for DSA if applying!

There r new washing machines at the boarding. Pay via ezlink card.

Could it be due to some students cheated by using the new 50cts coin instead of the old $1 coin?

    • RE: National Junior College (Junior High)

yes all JH2s in acc math (2015) is compulsory to take SMO Junior 2015, i think paid by college? 🙂

JH1s have to pay around $8 i think this year.

A math last year for JH1 is tuesday , 2:30-4
      for my cohort is JH2 2015 : tuesday 330-5

so if clash with third lang then you can either
      1) quit third lang (i think they r discuss whether third lang should contribute to grades)
      2) change third lang timing or centre (except spanish or german no other centre to change)

      so ya

      for AEP/MU, not sure.

all u all JH1 so kiasu now only march already got october roommate WOW
