Hi, for this year, the top 3 classes in P5 are 5E, 5F and 5C. Subject based banding is based on P4 results. From the briefing, I understand that the school first ranked the students based on their overall results. Then, the top % (I cannot recall how many percent) were further ranked based on their Chinese results. From here, the first 80 went to 5E and 5F, doing 4S (standard) + HCL, while the remaining went to 5C.

Correct, if there are PE lessons on Mondays, the boys need not wear ties as they will be in their PE attire.

Hi, remedials are only for students who need them. The teachers will inform the students separately.

Actually, the school bus does cater to CCA. You need to let the bus operator know so that they can plan the route and let you know which bus to take. For my son,he has to pay S$5 each time he takes the school bus back to student care after CCA.

Hi Blue Pearl, well, I am a working mum too, so I fully understand what you mean. My girl's class has activities like birthday parties so this is an opportunity for parents to meet and catch up.


Alternatively, like what I did with my son's class, I emailed the form teacher and asked her to spread the word to the other parents about the whatsapp group set up by me. You may want to try this out

I am not aware of any parents group. For my girl, I get to know a few parents, then exchanged phone numbers and started our own whatsapp group.

Hi jes12, such school letters are given to the students throughout the year. You can actually see all the letters uploaded in the school website. My son is in P3 next year and since he received this letter in Oct, I thought to just share with you re your query
