So, all the DWs out there, don't become your hubby's caregiver......become your hubby's lover. Keep the spark and passion alive, don't let housework or kids become an excuse, ever!

      Dear 3boys
...this is easier said thn done.
What if hubby is one who complains when house is messy, when creepy crawlies invade the kitchen at night ,when kids grades slide a little...and yet still expect to be able to come home daily to a perfumed ,purring kitten that clings to him and sayang him? Give me a break!

    • How to clean mussels?

have soaked the mussels in water, and changed the water several time.

but somehow the water still looked dirty.

    • RE: Neighbour Stories

I love cats. I used to hv them as pets when i was little.

But, right now i am irritated by a neighbour's cat that sometimes poo near our doorstep.
My neighbour felt bad abt it and has ask me to call her when it happens so that she can come and clear it away. Fair enuf i thought.
But then it had become more frequent, and it annoyed me that i had become a \"Poo Reporter '
It irked me even more when once i saw the neighbour's kid noticing the poo , and yet did not bother to clear it away.
That means \"No call No poo remover\"? :frustrated:
      How arh???

Strangely I hardly encounter sales gal who leeches on me. take 1 look at me and they are pretty sure I won't buy.

      šŸ˜† hahaha...sama sama.

and for me, sometimes they may stand at a corner and monitor if i'm there to shoplift :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

but seriously, it's not easy being a good sales person, must know how to ęŸ„čØ€č§‚č‰². They must understand that some customers like to be followed and 'served', but some do not. šŸ˜„

Just to add, my daughter takes HMT and we were briefed earlier by principal that the bonus pts for HMT grade is applicable to SAP school application only if your child meets the cut off point for that school. Say if COP for SAP school X is 260 and your child's score is 260 and scored a distination, then his/her agg score is 263. If your child's score is 259, then the 3 bonus points cant be used and his/her score remains at 259. Hope this is helpful as many parents are not aware of this criteria. Cheers !

Somehow doesn't make sense right ?
You take HCL for the bonus points to get into SAP schools.
If your t score is 259 and the COP is 260, precisely that's when the bonus points come in handy right ?
if the bonus points only count if you meet the COP, then what's the use of it ?

Read somewhere that the bonus points only work if the student is within top 30% of the cohort or has a minimum t score of ?250.
      I think this make sense.

It seemed that it was to give the child with HMT an \"advantage\" when applying for SAP school. if COP is 260 and child A with 260 pass for HMT (which then equates agg score to 261) vs child B with 260 w/o HMT, and if both choose the same SAP school with only 1 vacancy left , then Child A will have priority over Child B. This was how it was explained to us during briefing by principal.[/quote]this is also what i thought it should be.
bonus pts comes in handy when stud A versus stud B with same score. then the want wif bonus pts win?

    • RE: Q&A - PSLE English

      ridcully:

I was the one who previously answered about 'rarely'.

The issue is grammatical: Implying something positive is not what determines the question tag.

'Rarely' is grammatically negative. It means 'not often'. Thus, the sentence 'John is rarely late for school can be rewritten:

John is not often late for school.

Now you can see that the question tag has to be positive:

John is not often late for school, is he?

John is rarely late for school, is he?

      thanks, it clears my doubt
