Hi, I am not sure whether anyone is still posting in this thread, but I really need help and advice.

If my DD was admitted via DSA to a IP Stream, at the end of IP4, can she apply to polytechnic via the DAE (Direct Admission Exercise) ? Is she still bounded by the DSA-Secondary contract to go to the designated JC ?

Pls help to reply if you have the information.

      Thank you.

If we have 2 CO, after putting the preferred school as 1st Choice, do we still need to put the 2nd CO in the 2nd choice ?

SST CO is out. DD received notification via email last night at 10:12 pm.

No need to collect CO from school, but there is a declaration form to submit by 4 Sept.

There are many ways to break a disappointing news to your child. Lying is the worst method and should not be encouraged as you make your child lose faith in trusting you. And once trust is lost, you need many days or even years to re-build your child's trust in you.

So think carefully before you want to take the easy way out.

And all the best to all, it's just 2 more weeks before results will be released.
DS received a CO from Maris Stella via email. But letter wants him to respond by next week if he is keen to accept the CO and hence they will reserve a place for him. At the moment we are still waiting for news from SST, since the selection camp. Does it mean if we respond to accept Maris Stella, we cannot accept SST if the CO comes thru?

      :congrats:

But, do we have to indicate our acceptance of CO now or during the 26 - 30 Oct \"Exercise School Preference\" stage?

I am concern if we do not respond to Maris Stella email while waiting for news from SST, the CO from Maris Stella may not stand. Anyone knows will this be the case? Or should we just respond to the email to indicate we're keen to accept the CO while waiting for news from SST?
May I ask, why do you prefer SST over MS ?

      Hi experienced parents,

I'm new to this thread and is checking out DSA for my son next year.
Kindly advise if results for P4 average 88%, P5 average 84% with Bronze in Maths Olympiad stands a chance for DSA.
Looking at schools like CHS, DHS, NJC and TJC.

      u can submit dsa application if your P5 Sa2 & P6 Sa1 r above 85% (for MS)

My advice is, just apply. Results is not the only factor in the assessment. But it will certainly help if you win some awards in some international competition like ICAS or Maths Olmpiads etc.
