• RE: Mrs Lee Math Tuition - Discussion

      TeaBoh:
If your child is not from TOP schools and / or above average, please do not waste time sending your child to Mrs Lee. My colleague's child was 'forced' to quit Mrs Lee's tuition. He told me initially Mrs Lee informed the child if did not understand then asked her. After the child attended the tuition, Mrs Lee reluctant to teach or answered the child questions. What's the use of attending Mrs Lee's tuition if she just want to teach the smart and above average just to enlighten her teaching. Please do not fire me when I am just telling the truth to the parents. Don't just listen to one side. You can keep on trying with her.... that is your choice.

Now that Marine_Parader is some crazy person marketing for Mrs Lee, does it mean TeaBoh had been wrongly accused by Marine Parader
Is there 2 NeuroMath cos One blog said is at parkway and the other point to eastgate.

Yes. One is at Parkway Parade and the other at Eastgate.

But same owner / founder ?
Actually, it doesn't really matter. What is important is who is the teacher that is teaching the child. Even if the centre is operated by not the founder, so long as the teacher teaching your child is good, it should be fine.

    • RE: How To Teach P1 Multiplication

      rsvp:
This is just my personal experience. I feel multiplication learnt through memorising or singing a song or rhyme is probably a quick and faster way of getting the multiplication into the child memory. The downside is I have seen a child when asked, what is 7X8, they will need to sing a rhyme or chant a timestable list, 1X8, 2X8 until he reaches 7X8 to get the answer!

... šŸ˜„ funny but its not uncommon.

Have you guys heard of JEIMath? I did some research on the net. Its from Korea. Saw some posting shared on Facebook about free diagnostic test for K2 going to P1. Test is suppose to identify gaps and access readiness for P1. Thanks.

My sister-in-law found in good for her son. He has been in JEI since K2, now in P4, always near top for Math.

Thanks BigDad. I made a visit to JEIMath over the weekend. The diagnostic test is about 30min. After that there is a computerised report which show the area of weaknesses. The report then prescribed a set books to address the weaknesses. The books are colourful, creative and interesting. The class size is 6 max. I signed up for a term. šŸ˜„ :xedfingers:
