    • RE: [Bedok/Katong/Marine Parade/Siglap] Preschools

      2R-Mummy:
Could any parents whose child attend MMi@katong kindly give any feedback. I heard k1 and k2 class size could go up to 24 to 2 teachers. Is it a norm? Would they be well prepare for p1 . I saw them using Chinese workbooks that are sell in Popular ,no readers.

My girl has been attending the school since N1 and she loves it. She is now in K1. So far from what I know the class size is about 20. I am not sure if they will be well prepared for P1 as my girl is still in K1 but a lot of parents do continue to sent their younger kids there so I guess the kids there should fare quite well in primary school. Besides that, they teaches the kids about other countries history, culture and they do a lot of arts and crafts, etc which I think is good for the kids.

Yes, they use a Chinese workbook from Popular. However, there are also written exercise and classroom activities. So far, my girl's Chinese teachers are mainly from mainland China and I must say they are very good teachers. She loves her Chinese lessons. Hope it helps.
