So far my child in IB (now in Y3) has coursework every year since Y1 and graded - could be individual or group work and can be single subject or multi-disciplinary. The output can be in various forms eg video, report, presentations etc, hence the kids can also be creative in how they present.

Thanks for the clarification . Like Zac’s mom, interested to know how much of project work is counted towards the final weightage as well.

      Thanks !

I think it varies, I don't really keep track now as the kids get older ... LOL.
If I recall, its 10-25% depending on the assignment and counted towards year end. So if Year End is 70%, then it is part of that 70%, hence reduce the overall year end paper contribution. Kids have to be consistent throughout then. Hope this helps.

Has anyone receive news from MGS dance?
      Thanks!
Yes, according to a friend who's child has applied, audition/interview has just started.

Hi, my DS will be starting his P1 next year. apparently, he has already been allocated a class- 1E. Wonder if any parents have kids going to the same class.

Can anyone advise what time to expect the P1 orientation( schedule for next sat) to end cause I need to bring him for his piano class.
Expect couple of hours - usually welcome remarks and intro, meet the form teacher n if you bother to get books n uniform on the same day, then add to the time. Suggest do the purchases on other days.

Does anyone know if the CAs / important assessments  are already happening for P1 students? Son said that oral was done last week - but without notice to parents? :please:

Hi, anyone’s children attending the English enrichment classes by Edunet? DS says initially boring but gotten more interesting lately. Any feedback from other parents?

Does anyone have any of their kids in Wushu CCA? Any good? Looks interesting as they have the external training school coming in to coach - although quite expensive.

Like the stats of PR and Citizens mix by MGS. That’s transparency n speaks volume. There is no comparison to large countries like the US, where foreigners can go to Public School.
