RE: Berries - Discussion
Hi everyone,
My daughter is the independent type and so far she likes the classes we sent her too, and school as well, but strangely she says she doesn’t like Berries and she says that even at home too. Anyone has similar experience, what could be the reason and what can we possibly do? Am thinking of transferring her to another branch with the same time slot to try it out. Thanks -
RE: St James Church Kindergarten
Yes I did also later hear that they do move the teachers and that the standards are consistent, so should be ok i think. Also heard that the teachers at Gilstead are from Leedon and Harding so they are not new.
Also, all campuses r run by the same principal. -
RE: St James Church Kindergarten
Hi Isabella,
I’ve visited both St James (also during the Gilstead open house) and Ascension and also asked my friend to ask her friends in the early childhood field. I like both schools though I must say I’m in love with Gilstead more. However surprisingly my friend’s friends all told her that I should go for Ascension, not because St James is no good but because Gilstead is the 3rd campus so the standard may not be consistent. Are there any parents here who can advise on how the different campuses compare?
Transport wise, Isabella, we are in the same boat. U can pm me? We can chat more on this. Thanks -
RE: Berries - Discussion
Hi everyone, I’m new in this thread, may I know which branch(es) are good to start a 3 year old at? I mean, which branch has better teachers for 3 year old?
Thanks -
RE: Cherie Hearts
Hi everyone,
My gal is now in PG1 in Cherie Hearts. So far am happy with the centre. However being a kiasu parent, am starting to plan ahead and find out whether going forward I should let her remain there till K2 or move her to somewhere else which may develop her potential better? Have been exploring kindergartens but given I work long and unpredictable hours, think cc is still better for her. Also I’m starting to get very concerned about her Chinese as she’s replying me in English when I speak to her in Mandarin!
Any advice?
Thanks in advance -

Thanks Karenjj!!
Hi,J11:
Hi everyone,
I stay between 1 to 2km of the school, and am starting to plan for my gal's P1 (she is now 1+ years old). May I know more about the school's PV program (e.g. is it difficult to get in, how and when to register, etc etc)?
Thanks in advance
I was a PV before..
I understand that the school accepts around 20 PVs(max) for each intake. They will give priority to those 1-2km / >2km as this group usually have to ballot or may not even have a chance to ballot under Phase 2C. The school has a very strong PSG (which means they have no lack of volunteers), thus it will be helpful if you have a special skill that the school needs at the time of your application. You may wish to call the admin office for more information on when / how to register. The admin staffs are very nice and helpful. There is a standard form to fill in for PV.. though I believe it's still quite early for you.
All the best!

RE: Comparing Chinese Enrichment (Primary/Preschool)
My daughter is between 1.5 to 2 years old. I’ve searched and it seems that Yuquan is the only school that has Chinese classes for this age group, may I know if there is any review on their classes for this age group? Thanks
