My kids (P1 & P2) are currently studying at Bukit Panjang Pri. As we are moving to Jurong area this year, I am thinking whether to transfer my kids to nearer schools like Shuqun Pri.

Understand that Shuqun Pri is quite popular around that area and there is no vacancy now. Should I stay put with Bukit Panjang Pri (which is one of the good schools in Bt Panjang) or transfer to a nearer school other than Shuqun, like Lakeside Pri?

In dilemma now.

The MOE website is clear abt the conditions. U might hv to reconsider ur gal's enrollment. I can only think of the solution of transferring her to shuqun after u officially move in. U might like to discuss with the sch abt this route.? Maybe there is a waiting list for such cases?

I called up MOE again and spoke to another CSE, confirmed i cannot enrolled in Shuqun. So i will need to enrol her at my current address first and do transfer.

Ya maybe i should call the shuqun regards to the waiting list. Hopefully there's a place for her in P2 next year.

The date stated in ur S&P, is it within 2yrs? Is this date different frm the TOP date?

The S&P stated mid 2015. But i called the developer and they said that it will be earlier in 2014 as the stated 2015 is the legal completion date, not the TOP date. Yet MOE said the TOP date must be within 2 years and they only see the date on the S&P. TOP is normally earlier than the legal completion date.

So confusing!

But yesterday i called MOE and they said they only see the date stated on the S & P agreement. If i produced a letter from the developer, also cannot. This really confused me as now i don't know if i should register my girl at Shuqun now.

I only knew i had to sign an undertaking letter that i will move in by the end of my kid's P2.

I need advise.

I am to register my girl in 2C in Shuqun primary using my yet-to-complete property address. As confirmed by the developer that the T.O.P is within the 2 years, meaning by end 2014. And i all along thought as long as we move in within 2 years, will be alright to register using new address. But i just found out that MOE only see the date stated on the S & P agreement even though the developer has confirmed that TOP will be much earlier or even issue a letter also no use.

Anyone can advise me if that’s true??
